A couple of weeks ago a few friends and I took a break from our usual routines in Perth to go to the opera – a grand outdoor production of Verdi‘s La Traviatta, overlooking the Sydney Opera House and Bridge. It was breathtakingly beautiful, to say the least and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos during the production, but we visited the venue (near Mrs Macquarie’s Chair) during the day and here are some shots showing preparations for the evening.
I had a really great time with my girlfriends and their family and friends. Needless to say, except for exchange stitching commitments, there hasn’t been much serious stitching at Crossed Yarns. Hope to remedy that soon.
Until next time,
Happy Stitching 😉
