Framing & Finishing

I’m working part-time until the end of February, but still have a full-time workload 😦 so work is a bit of a frenzy right now. Anyone know how to manage that? On the stitching front, slow and steady is the game here at Crossed Yarns. Gaby my exchange partner in Germany loved her presents, shown here. Glad I could mail a little bit of sunshine to a friend in the northern hemisphere. Meanwhile, it’s way too hot here and I’m totally over summer. Give me some cool weather, please?

To console myself  over the very slow stitching I decided to frame a piece which I stitched in … … … 2006. Found just the right frame, don’t you think?

I absolutely love it!

Don’t ask me why it’s taken me 5 years to just pop it into a frame… I really need to get my act together!

I thought I’d be displaying a finish….. but 😦 I ran out of  WDW Caper! Don’t you hate that.  So everything’s done except for parts of the bottom leaves until I get more of the Caper thread.

Until next time,

Happy Stitching 😉

It was worth the wait in framing this piece as you absolutely have the perfect frame! Of course this is one of my favorite designs. 🙂 Good luck with your last week of full-time work crammed into a part-time schedule.

Love, love, love your Bitter Flower Sampler. This is a WIP for the Crazy 15 Challenge and I need to get it back in the rotation! Can’t wait to see the finished piece!

    Happy stitching….wishing you cooler weather.

Two wonderful projects. The Green Tree is one of my Crazy 15 projects and I will stitch and finish it soon. Yours looks fantastic in its frame. The second is also one of my favourites.
