Happy Australia Day!

Wishing all fellow Aussie stitchers a fantastic Australia Day

I’m taking it really easy today.  Monday’s surgery went well, no dramas whatsoever.  DH came down from Kalgoorlie to support me. Saw the opthalmologist yesterday morning and he was very happy with his handiwork. He removed the dressing and my patch. I’m allowed to read, watch TV and stitch for short periods of time; just have to wear large sunnies when I go outside and a transparent patch at night so I don’t rub my eyes in my sleep. Vision in my left eye is fantastic already. YaY!  😆

Needless to say I’m filled with relief, gratitude and joy for the gift of improved eyesight this Australia Day.  Many many thanks to you my friends for all your encouraging words at this difficult time.

Happy Stitching 😉
