‘Tis Spring!

Spring! My favourite time of year has definitely arrived in our neck of the woods. It’s come very early this year – my roses and other flowers in my garden are already in full bloom. We’ve also experienced the driest September in the last umpteen years, which is not a good sign. It probably means a looong, hot and uncomfortable summer. Best enjoy this time while it lasts 🙂  To celebrate, I stitched and finished this cute design from EEF…

EEF, Spring Primrose

EEF, Spring Primrose - ribbon detail

EEF, Spring Primrose - close up of design

Fabric: 32 count natural  Belfast linen
Threads: DMC
Finish: box ornament (my very first attempt)

Happy Stitching 😉

Congratulations on the finish, it is gorgeous. Did your DH go home with you or is he still in Kalgoorlie?

  8. xangles says:

Unfortunately, DH is Kalgoorlie for a while that’s where the job was, so he had to go (after a prolonged period looking) He was home two weekends ago, which was great. I’m on the phone to him a lot – thank goodness its VOIP so won’t cost the earth.
