MOTM Update – In which Frogs are Banished!

Happy Anzac Day to Aussie stitchers and crafters out there!

Thanks for all your encouraging remarks re Marriage of the Minds. It spurred meon to overcome those pesky frogs and I emerged triumphant 🙂  I decided to try the slideshow gismo on WordPress, which I haven’t used before, so here goes…

As it is a long weekend in Australia, I took the opportunity to get going with my Christmas stitching. I aim to stitch a couple of small Christmas themed pieces so that I have enough at the end of the year for a Christmas basket of smalls. I purchased a number of Lizzie Kate Christmas patterns at the sales earlier in the year, so I started with this piece from her Be Blox series.

In other Stitching news, my Fair & Square partner FayeRaye has informed that her squares arrived safe and sound.

My birthday exchange parcel for Patti is wending its way to the UK as we speak. Patti’s on strict instructions not to open it before the BIG DAY. I do hope all the hassles with airlines over the volcano eruption in Europe will not delay delivery.

Wishing you all a happy week. I’m off to enjoy a bit of the perfect autumn weather on display in Perth all weekend

Happy Stitching 😉
