How Quakeresque

2010 is clearly the year of the quaker design for me. I don’t choose them on purpose. It’s only when they’re stitched, washed & pressed and ready for a photo shoot that it dawns on me…  yet another quaker! Personally, I’m rapt, ’cause I loove quaker patterns. Here’s the latest finish

Dimunitive Dutch Sampler, CHS - floral motif

Dimunitive Dutch Sampler - A

Dimunitive Dutch Sampler - B and C

All Together Now...

I used the prescribed DMC threads, but changed the very dark brown 3371 to a milder 3781. The colours in this simple design go so well together and I enjoyed stitching in between the large Marriage of the Minds project, which is coming along very nicely. Will show you next time.

I’ve  been ill with the flu the whole of the Easter break so didn’t get around to doing everything I’d planned, but I managed to finish some birthday exchange stitching and I’m half-way through Fair and Square exchange stitching for Round 18.

Happy Stitching 😉
