Kindness Grows

I finally succumbed to the flu (hopefully not of the swine variety) that’s been going around the office and have been home yesterday and today, too bleary-eyed to do much and nursing a stubborn cough.

Anyway, I took some photos of Kindness to show you my progress over the last week…

Almost time for a happy dance, I think. I’m loving stitching this design. Don’t know if it’s the colours or the design or both or what else, but this design affects me deeply. I’ve found that when I pick it up in the evenings after work, it lifts my energy and my mood to a happier level. I shall surely miss it when it’s complete – only compensation is that it will soon be framed and on a wall in my home. This one is not going to languish in a drawer for years, as some of my stitching is wont to do.

Anyway, got to go. I have the sewing machine and other finishing equipment out – planning some finishes, which I’ll show you soon.

Happy Stitching 🙂
