The Art of Beaded Edging

Beaded Edging

Beaded Edging

When I posted pictures of the scissor fob I made for the Tiny Treasures Exchange (not the one shown here),  Gaynor asked me how to finish a piece with beaded edging. I tried to explain (in words) but it’s really hard to do it without images.

Well, I was surfing and guess what I found? Alexandrina at Matrioshka Biscornu has  large clear photos showing exactly what to do. The text is not in English, but not to panic – no need for a crash course in Russian. The pictures really do all the talking. Alexandrina also has some great freebie designs on her blog, so if you haven’t  already been, this is a good time to get acquainted.

Happy Stitching 😉

Thanks for a helpful link, Pokua. I’ve wanted to do a beaded edging but when I’ve tried in the past, it looked awful!
