The last, and certainly not the least, giveaway … some of you may recognise as the freebie Quaker Time by Gencat (Lune d’Automne) . I’ve finished it into an octagonal shaped hanging ornament. My poor photography may fool you into thinking that it’s been stitched with black thread, but I’ve actually stitched with DMC 930, a very elegant grey/blue and one of my all time favourite colours. This octagonal shaped hanging ornament is very lovely! Yes, it does look like it has been stitched in black thread, but I can kind of see a blue/gray cast to it, after I read that that is what you used!

This is beautiful. I can see the hard work that went into it. I used to do this sort of thing, before the eyes started going. Now all that tiny work is too much for me to do, but I can still appreciate it!
