I had eye surgery late last week, so have been in recovery. Which means very little doing of anything and lots of rules
no outdoors (except with sunglasses on); no bending over; no lifting; no coughing (except with my mouth open); and the worst thing? have to sleep with a plastic eyepatch taped over my eye! Good thing? I’ve been promised ‘close to perfect eyesight’ when it all heals up in a couple of months
I’ll let you know if it was worth it or not.
In the meantime, my stitching mojo returned. Just when it’s rather difficult to stitch for more than a half hour at a time? Strange! Anyway, I managed to finish this little beauty yesterday.
Fabric: 32 count Vintage Country Mocha Belfast
Threads: Gentle Art Sampler Threads (as called for in design)
It was the fun design and joyful colours that brought my mojo back, I think. I’ll frame and keep it close by to remind me to bloom.
